The Kingdom of Cambodia is found in the southern region of the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. Bordered by Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and the Gulf of Thailand; the land consists mainly of an immense alluvial plain ringed by mountains, to the East of which is the Mekong River. Cambodia is home to Vietnamese, Chinese, Chams and 30 various hill tribes.

The revitalized city of Siem Reap with its cluster of small villages along the Siem Reap River, is the gateway to the Angkor region home to the famous Angkor Wat, the symbol of Cambodia.
